One of the biggest things that Austin and I pride ourselves on as part of this business is trying to be as unobtrusive as possible during the ceremony. We want the wedding guests to be paying attention to the bride and groom and not distracted by the photographers running around. So as usual, for the entire ceremony we stayed out of the way and remained as quiet as possible. Then, it was time for Katie and Ronnie to give the flowers to Mary in the back corner of the church. It was quiet, and all you could hear was the Ave Maria playing. I snuck around to get a quick shot of them, and as I was leaving the I lifted the cameras up so that they wouldn’t clang against the pew. Well, apparently when I lifted the cameras one of the clips came detached and my camera went soaring across the aisle and ba-bam! It was so loud when it hit the floor.. Of all moments for this to happen, it had to be then! Anyways, Katie and Ronnie laughed it off, and the rest of the day went off without a hitch. Katie and Ronnie gave us plenty of time in between the ceremony and reception to take some fun photos with the bridal party and then get some great stuff of just the two of them. I love when a couple gives us enough time to create beautiful portraits for them! The best part was that we went back to Ronnie’s family’s house where we shot their e-session for the portraits. This wedding was so much fun to shoot. I hope you guys had an amazing time on your honeymoon. Can’t wait to hear about it!
Ok, so this photo is a favorite of mine just because the timing is impeccable to make it into such a funny shot. I was dying laughing when I saw this!
