Alicia and Thomas are just so naturally comfortable together, it made taking photos of them even better. As a bonus, we got to include their adorable daughter Brooklyn in the session. Brook has the cutest little personality and she is going to make the perfect little flower girl next May. The highlight of the session would probably be when she was playing in the rocks and she said “I wanna give this one to Issy”. I was honestly impressed that she remembered my name and it made my heart melt a little. We shot these photos at the Riverwinds in West Deptford, NJ. I had never been there before, but I’m so glad that they chose this location. I feel like we got the first hint of fall in these photos so the colors really stand out. If you have been following my blog, you probably already know how much I like bright colors in photos. I’m so excited for Alicia and Thomas’s wedding next spring.
ps… I’m totally jealous of Alicia’s gorgeous hair…
We met Sam and Buster a couple years ago when they caught the garter and bouquet at Kristen and Shane’s wedding. Now, their day had finally come and we couldn’t be more excited for them. Samantha and Buster are huge Philadelphia Eagles fans (we actually saw them at a game this past season), and they incorporated that into their wedding. They even had Swoop, the Philadelphia Eagles mascot at their reception. Aside from it being nearly 100 degrees outside that day, everything was perfect. Samantha looked so beautiful, and I have to say that this crowd knew how to party. I love a wedding with a packed dance floor, and they didn’t disappoint. Sam is the first bride I have ever seen do a “swimming” dance, and it was so much fun to capture. Congrats to you both and I hope you had an amazing honeymoon in the islands!
Melissa,
My cousin Mike, well actually my dad’s cousin Mike is in one of those pictures…he’s with the Philadelphia Eagle…the short Italian guy in front.
Wow there beautiful pictures of the two of you
While Melissa and Rich have been honeymooning over the past week in beautiful Jamaica I have been working away at these blog images. Now, I have had so much trouble picking favorites for my blog because I really can’t decide on which ones are my favorites. At some point I had to say “ok, that is enough photos for the blog”, but since I didn’t get to the reception images I might add another post about that later. The reason there are so many good photos from this wedding is because of Melissa and Rich. Melissa was the most excited bride, and she literally smiled all day. The two of them were the happiest couple and I can’t explain how much fun it was to shoot with them. Also, I have to say that they had a great bridal party who were all great in front of the camera. I really could go on for days about this wedding. It was held at the Smithville Inn which was amazing and gorgeous. We even got to spend some time with them at the after party, and it was great to actually get to celebrate their special day with them. Both Melissa and Rich have great families, and it was so enjoyable being at the wedding with them, and being part of their day. I hope you guys had a blast on your honeymoon… we can’t wait to hear about it!
Love, love, love all the pics, you guys are beautiful!
Wow…so awesome. Your happiness is captured so perfectly! Kudos to the photographer.
I was smiling through the whole set. Great pictures.

We couldn’t be happier! These photos show it for sure! I can’t stop looking at them…

What an amazing wedding…beautiful spot, beautiful décor and a truly beautiful couple!!! May your years together be as wonderful as your special day!
When Stacey and Wes first arrived for their initial meeting the first thing that I said to them was “I recognize you guys”. Stacey and Wes got a referral from one of our spring 2013 brides, but I knew I had met them before. After a few minutes, we figured out that not only do we share some close friends, we actually spent some time with them this past summer in Sea Isle. It turns out that Stacey and Wes actually met in Sea Isle City on 49th street. So, there wasn’t a more appropriate place to do their engagement photos than right where they met. These two were so great in front of the camera that I felt like we were working with models. What you can’t tell from these photos is that it was absolutely freezing outside. It was literally in the 40’s, and I was cold in a sweatshirt. They were such good sports about the cold too. If it hadn’t been so cold out, we could have shot with these two all night. I can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
The best part about shooting this wedding for Kristen and Bryan is that I felt like we have known them for years. Bryan’s quiet composure is a perfect match for Kristen’s spunky personality. Kristen had a few one-liners on her wedding day that have made me laugh for days afterwards. The ceremony took place at the Cathedral in the Woods in Medford Lakes, NJ followed up by an awesome reception at Luciens in Berlin. These two were so much fun to be around, that you could even find Austin and I doing some dance moves with them at the reception. I am so glad that Kristen and Bryan chose us to be part of their day, and I’m sure we will be seeing plenty of them in the future because of the friendship we have developed. Kristen and Bryan, I hope that you guys are down there enjoying the sun and the sand on your honeymoon!
You may recognize this couple from our 2011 blog posts… It was so great to see Kristen and Shane again!
Beautiful pictures,Alicia will make a beautiful bride and Brooklynn will be an adorable flower girl. And TJ a handsome groom.Congratulations to them all.
